Train to be a Cheetah!

The Cheetahs is a premier softball organization that operates throughout NJ and Eastern PA.  The Cheetahs were established with one goal in mind, to train and develop dedicated young women to become great softball players.  This has been done through the commitment of our Coaches and Trainers that have a strong track record of playing and coaching at the collegiate level and understanding what it takes for athletes to be successful.

The belief is that by training players the right way from a young age, they will build a strong foundation that they can continue to develop throughout their softball careers.  Being ready to play in middle school, high school and college is more than being able to play well.  It is about being able to play well with solid mechanics that help them differentiate themselves from the other players.  It is about developing as a player with the right character to help them be successful on and off the field.

In addition to a full tournament and showcase schedule, all Cheetah players are scheduled to participate in the following:

  • Weekly Team Practices with Team Coaching Staff
  • Weekly training led by Lead Organization Trainers, Coach Gerry Mauro and Terri Adams
  • 16U and 18U Teams receive 2 College Clinics included in their Team fees run by GM Sports with direct College Coach interaction and exposure.
  • 16U and 18U Teams will receive Recruiting guidance and consultation included in Team Fees.

It is through structured practices that provide training on fielding mechanics, game situations, hitting repetitions and strength and conditioning that enable players that join the Cheetahs to differentiate themselves and prepare them for the next step in their softball career.
